Clean Water for Haitian Children

haitiheader-360x78

Walter recently recorded a recital of the poem “Why the Caged Bird Sings,” by Maya Angelou, for the Clean Water for Haitian Children project run by Mr. Pratt and his Sociology students. The recording was for a Radiothon on WTRE 1330AM. The goal of the event was to raise $2,000 for Pastor Beaufort Louis Juste‚Äôs Orphanage, so they can build a water filtration system for the orphans placed there. The event was held on the 28th of October. For more information or to contact Mr. Pratt for inquiries on this project, just check out the Chautauqua Website!
